BBD Beef and Broccoli with Peanut Sauce
Let's be honest. Eating at Panda Express will eventually have you riding the Fat Ass Express. I think even the napkins there are deep fried and covered with sugar. Chinese food is one my favorite guilty pleasures. It's a type of food I could comfortably eat everyday. The sweet and savory is what does it for me. This recipe is a revision of the take out classic so that you can enjoy the pleasures of take out without the guilt. The secret ingredient is a Low Calorie Peanut Sauce from Whole Foods that is only 30 calories per serving which is 3x less calories than a normal peanut sauce, but does not hold back on authentic flavor. (Link Posted Below) This recipe can be prepared in 6 easy steps and shouldn't take more than 20 mins to prepare and dish. Argue with your wife and family about what everyone wants or prepare this dish for the whole fam and feel good afterwards. You be the judge.
This recipe calls for
6oz of Ground Beef 96/4
2 Cups of Broccoli
1 Tablespoon of Organic Peanut Sauce from Whole Foods
2 Tablespoon of Low Sodium Soy Sauce
per serving
Step 1 : Lightly spray pan with pam and heat up until pan is visibly hot.
Step 2: Bring Pot with 4 Cups of Water to a Boil
Step 3: Add 6 oz Ground Beef to Hot Pan; Break Apart into Finely Ground Beef
Step 4: Add Broccoli to Boiling Water for 5 Mins
Step 5: Drain Pot with Broccoli, then Add to Pan with Ground Beef. Add 2 Tablespoons of Low Sodium Soy Sauce and Cook Together for 3 Minutes.
Step 6: Plate your Cooked Beef and Broccoli. Drizzle 1 Tablespoon of Whole Food Organic Peanut Sauce
